Simon Gadd is Group Chief Risk Officer of the company. Simon is Group Chief Risk Officer. Simon has had a varied career in law and in general since he studied mathematics at Oxford University. He qualified as an actuary in 1991 and since then has been responsible for, among other things, the valuation of defined benefit pension plans, various pricing and marketing functions, general management functions and pension review management. Simon has led a variety of legal and corporate activities, including retail protection activities, group protection activities and, from 2006 to 2012, as General Manager of Annuities. Legal & General Group Plc (« L&G ») today announced planned changes to its Board of Directors to ensure smooth succession to several key positions at the division`s CEO and Executive Committee level.
