Land Use Rules 2020 Lda

According to the details published in the recent 2020 land use rules, the land categories in the city of Lahore are divided into three headings mentioned above. Let`s take a closer look at how LDA drew the lines between the different property types under these topics. Following an agreement between LDA and NADRA, the Authority was granted access to the NADRA database in 2020. The NADRA meter was installed at LDA One Window Cell. The Lahore Development Authority recently finalized the draft 2020 Land Use Rules, previously reported to promote construction activity in the city. These regulations are expected to be submitted to the LDA Board of Directors for final approval. According to the project, which was previously shared by the LDA, Lahore was divided into 10 categories: commercial, residential, mixed-use, institutional, industrial, agricultural, special development zone, peri-urban, open space and recreation, and marked areas. According to the LDA spokesperson, following the promulgation of the 2020 land use rules, the policy and guidelines were provided to enable land use change to launch new business activities to create employment opportunities for youth. The spokesperson said the business-friendly regulation would have allowed for a 5 percent reduction on the lump sum payment of marketing fees, provided a way to pay marketing fees in simple installments in three years instead of two years, and also allowed for the consolidation of equal amounts of land in a country already used to develop an existing business. The authority approved the use of land in the commercial area for the construction of a multi-storey building, a residential apartment, a technical and professional facility, a mixed-use building, for entertainment purposes such as shopping malls, cinemas, theaters, auditoriums, showrooms or department stores, etc. Acceptable land use in residential areas allows you to develop an angle/corner. Neighborhood store, kindergarten, community center, rehabilitation center, elementary school, training center or other educational institutions, high schools, pharmacy, guest house, indoor sports center or club, places of worship, clinics and ATMs. Divided lands include industrial, recreational, agricultural, commercial, open space, residential, institutional, mixed-use, registered and special areas, which are divided into three broad categories of acceptable, permitted and prohibited uses.

The authorities have approved the use of land in the commercial area to build an institution, a residential apartment, a multi-storey building, department stores, buildings for leisure activities such as theater, cinema, concert hall, shopping center, auditorium, etc. In addition, the LDA approved the construction of low-rise residential and commercial buildings once the construction plan was submitted for approval. The residential, commercial, industrial and warehouse construction plans were approved within 30 days. The certificate of completion of the building was issued within 30 days. The conversion of the land to commercial, industrial and other purposes was approved within 45 days. The cost of connecting to water and the time required to install the connection have been reduced by WASA. Online filing of fees would also begin shortly.
